When we moved in, the back yard looked like a jungle
full of weeds. However, there was also a large pond underneath. |

We thought a swing set would be safer (and more fun)
for the boys than the pond. A friend from work brought his pond-aficionado
friend over and they emptied the good plants out and helped remove the liner
(and lots of weeds). |
 |
| After 6 weeks of trying to get someone
to fill in the pond for under $1500, we got 32 yards of dirt dumped in the
driveway and rented a Gravely Skidster and did it ourselves for under $400
(in Charleston in July)... |

Scott came by to help and get some rocks. I didn't
take a good "before" picture of the dirt pile, but it is on the videos. |

We got the skidster and dirt Friday after work and
the hole was gone by 3pm Saturday. |
