Once again, I waited until the last
minute. Earlier in the month, Maddie had her first injury serious enough
to call the vet out. She somehow managed to put her right front leg
through the fence (or gate or the crotch of a tree, we weren't there to
see) and got two small, jagged cuts on her knee as well as caused
bruising and strain to her extensor tendons.
While the injury has healed up nicely, I didn't think that THOSE
pictures would be appropriate for Maddie's site! Here she is with her
brother, Wings, and buddy, Pockets, looking for apples in the leaves and
playing racehorse on Halloween.
