We had several days of unseasonably warm
weather in January and Maddie was glad to have her turn out sheet off.
She has not been in the small paddock for several months so had to
investigate all of the suspicious changes in her world. The tarpaulin
over the lawn mower came in for some close scrutiny.
I knew that Maddie was ready to explode in
a bout of running and playing but used up the disk space on a video of
her meandering about. The dog's barking finally set her off into a
series of spectacular leaps. She is almost 15 hands right now and we are
thinking about making plans to show her at Upperville this summer as a
two year old hunter in hand.
