Mark and I took Maddie and Wings out for a
very short ride (about 10 minutes). We started with Wings and me in the
lead but ended up letting Maddie go first. She seemed much happier in
front. Although she was hesitant about walking through tall weeds and
grass and decidedly unpleased about a muddy spot on the trail, she was a
very good girl and received many treats for good behavior. I took the
pictures from Wing's back so the angle is odd but you can get a good feel
for the experience. When Mark let her pass Wings and go to the lead, she
became all alert and eager to check out the woods. He said her ears were
like icicles, they were so stiff!
