| John came down this weekend and we took
Maddie and Wings to Frying Pan Park to ride in the ring and over the
outside course. This was Maddie's first trip away from home with company
along and she was not pleased! She objected strenuously to sharing "her"
trailer by kicking, stomping and neighing. Wings didn't seem to mind. When
we got to the park, Maddie continued to misbehave so I saddled her and
worked her on the lunge line in the ring. She ran around bucking and
basically acting badly for almost 20 minutes before settling down. Wings
enjoyed himself very much but Maddie pouted. |

Pat, Aimee and Aaron met us there and Aimee got
to ride Wings and, finally, Maddie (I kept the lunge line on just as a
precaution). |
