Berry Ice Cream




What you need:

          1/4 cup sugar x2

          1 cup milk

          3 egg yolks

          2 cups of berries

          1 pint heavy cream

          1 tsp vanilla extract




In a saucepan:

          Mix together:

                      1 cup milk

                      1/4 cup sugar


In a small cup:

          Beat three egg yolks


Add egg yolks to saucepan and heat on medium burner.

          DO NOT BOIL

          STIR CONSTANTLY


Just before it boils, dump in a large bowl


Refrigerate for three hours, stirring periodically


In a big cup:

          Mash up two cups of berries and 1/4 cup sugar

          Set aside


Dump:

                      berries

                      1 pint heavy cream

                      1 tsp vanilla extract

into refrigerated bowl and stir


Put in ice cream mixer


Freeze for several hours, then eat.
