Berry Ice Cream
What you need:
• 1/4 cup sugar x2
• 1 cup milk
• 3 egg yolks
• 2 cups of berries
• 1 pint heavy cream
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
In a saucepan:
• Mix together:
• 1 cup milk
• 1/4 cup sugar
In a small cup:
• Beat three egg yolks
Add egg yolks to saucepan and heat on medium burner.
• DO NOT BOIL
• STIR CONSTANTLY
Just before it boils, dump in a large bowl
Refrigerate for three hours, stirring periodically
In a big cup:
• Mash up two cups of berries and 1/4 cup sugar
• Set aside
Dump:
• berries
• 1 pint heavy cream
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
into refrigerated bowl and stir
Put in ice cream mixer
Freeze for several hours, then eat.
