What to Expect On Pickup Day


  • Your Move & Pack team will text you the day of your reservation to let you know they are on their way.
  • When your team arrives, the lead will explain the contract and do a quick walkthrough to optimize for the safest and fastest way to pack your items saving you both time and money.
  • Your team will photograph, barcode, and pack any of your items going into storage before loading them into the truck.
  • Our Clutter technology will ensure that you are only paying for the storage space required for the items you need stored. Feel free to add or remove items as you see fit. Your Move & Pack lead can tell you how much space you are using at any point during the pickup. Ask anytime!
  • If you have booked a direct move, you can add any of your items to storage at any point during the move.
  • Tipping is welcome but not required. If our team did a great job, show them some love on Yelp!
  • Your card will be charged for any storage and labor costs shortly after your job is complete.
  • If you are running late for your reservation, please call customer care at (800) 805-4023.
  • Once on site, the Move & Pack team will wait up to 30 minutes for you to be available before canceling your appointment. However, labor charges will begin 5 minutes after the Move & Pack team has arrived if you are not available to meet the team upon arrival.
  • For your first pickup only, a $100 non-refundable deposit is charged 48 hours prior to your appointment.

Tips To Reduce Labor Costs


  • Pack everything you can ahead of time, but leave boxes open so we can take a photo of what's inside each box.
  • If it's possible to reserve the moving elevator in your building, that will speed up loading time.
  • Be on time. If you need us to wait for you to arrive for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged standard labor rates for the time our team spends waiting.
  • Disassemble furniture items like bed frames and bookcases so our team can pack and wrap them quickly.
  • Clear all walkways and stairwells so our team can easily navigate to and from the truck.
  • Keep pets and small children out of the way so the team can work quickly without stepping on little toes.
