Marina is another beautiful San Francisco neighborhood. It’s a wonderful place to visit, and it's also a wonderful place to live. Surrounded by Van Ness Avenue, Fort Mason, Lombard St, Cow Hollow, Lyon Street, and the Presidio National Park, Marina definitely does a good job of reminding you that you could only be in San Francisco. The scenic beauty of the area is lovely, yet understated. Grab a cup of coffee from one of the nearby cafes. You’ll find it surprisingly easy to get pulled into simply wandering around, taking in the visuals of your surroundings. Don’t be surprised if you see someone having a picnic on one of the green hills that can be found throughout the area.

If you want to get away from the lovely San Francisco weather for a little while, you’ll have a few different possibilities to consider. From restaurants, to bars, to significant points of interest that create a definitive San Francisco experience, Marina has something for everyone.

Marina offers fantastic shopping during the day, and then gives you everything you could ever want from a nightclub scene. If you want a famous drinking establishment like The Tipsy Pig, you won’t have to travel very far. If you want to dance the night away in one of the hottest nightclubs in the city, you can do that with a plethora of choices. If you want to check out some local entertainment, San Francisco’s Marina District will be able to take care of you.

When people who know San Francisco come to town, they certainly know where they need to go for a good time. The city is boundless in its possibilities. Few neighborhoods within the city do a better job of proving that than Marina.
