Hayes Valley is quite good at giving you a variety of trendy options to choose from. Eccentric coffee shops dot the landscape there, along with popular boutiques, surprisingly creative restaurants that celebrate San Francisco’s cultural diversity quite nicely, and bars that can suit the mood of almost any drinker and partier.

If the food trucks and beer gardens don’t particularly grab you, don’t sweat it. Hayes Valley may not be the biggest neighborhood in the city, but you wouldn’t know that from the way the area is constantly buzzing with activity. If you’re not staring at some of the most beautiful buildings in San Francisco, you’re checking out a pop-up restaurant, or finding out what your options are for the evening with local entertainment. It’s pretty much impossible to be bored in a place like Hayes Valley.
