Downtown/Union Square is one its busiest parts of San Francisco. No matter what time of the year it is, and no matter when in the day you happen to be there, the lights, people, traffic, and buildings are going to captivate every ounce of your attention.

When you’re in Downtown/Union Square, you’re going to be surrounded by cars, residents, fellow visitors, street performers, and businesses with open windows and open doors. It’s easy to be completely overwhelmed by a part of the city such as this, but you don’t have to worry too much. Downtown/Union Square is fairly easy to navigate. 

There are tons of shops, bars, restaurants, hotels, and nightclubs in the area. If you go out for drinks and dancing, you’re going to wind up dropping more than a couple of dollars.

The other great thing about Downtown/Union Square is that it borders so many other noteworthy parts of San Francisco. The downtown portion of the city is bordered by Tenderloin, the Financial District, and Chinatown. In other words, you’re going to find yourself filling the day or even an entire weekend with ease.
